01.07.2023Dr. Amanda Dahlstrand and Prof. Zacharias Sautner join our Faculty

As of 1 July 2023, we welcome Amanda Dahlstrand and Zacharias Sautner as new members of our Faculty.

Dr. Amanda Dahlstrand has been appointed assistant professor of Applied Microeconomics at the Department of Economics.

Amanda received her PhD in Economics from the The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She has previously held a position as a postdoc at Microsoft Research New England (Cambridge, MA). In 2021, she was awarded the Best Job Market Paper from the European Economic Association (EEA) and UniCredit.

Prof. Dr. Zacharias Sautner has been appointed as full professor of Sustainable Finance at the Department of Banking and Finance.

Zacharias studied Banking and Finance/Economics and Finance at the Stuttgart University of Cooperative Education and at the University of York, UK. In 2005, he received his PhD from the University of Mannheim. This was followed by a postdoctoral stay at the Saïd Business School of the University of Oxford before he moved to the Universiteit van Amsterdam, where he first worked as an assistant professor and later as an associate professor. Since 2014, Prof. Sautner has been researching and teaching as a professor at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
