Welcome Week
The first-ever Welcome Week for students of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics will take place from 14 to 18 September, to kick off the academic year.
The Welcome Week will guide you through your first week of classes and give you the opportunity to meet other first-year students, make new friends, and start your campus life together. It is organized by five student associations and organizations with the support of the Dean’s Office.
Registration
Participation is free and open to all first-semester students at the Faculty. Registration is required.
Become a Delegate
The student associations are looking for about 30 bachelor’s students (3rd semester or higher) and master’s students to each guide a group of freshmen through the Welcome Week. The assignment takes place from 14 to 16 September during the kick-off event and the afternoon programs. The activities are prepared by the Welcome Week Committee and communicated in advance – the delegates do not need to organize anything themselves. The total time commitment is approximately 6-8 hours. There are no further obligations after the Welcome Week.
