The Faculty Council, the Faculty Board and the Faculty Assembly form the most important bodies of the Faculty of Business, Economic and Informatics and are chaired by the Dean. They meet several times a semester and deal with important business either conclusively or in preparation for forwarding to university committees.

| The Faculty Assembly is composed of all professors of the Faculty and representatives of the Senior Researchers and Teaching Staff, Junior Researchers, students, administrative and technical staff. | The Dean heads the Faculty. He or she is supported by three vice deans. Together they constitute the Faculty Council. | The Faculty Assembly delegates various tasks to the Faculty Board. This body is made up of the Faculty Council, a representative from each department, and a representative each from the Privatdozierenden (lecturers), academic assistants and students. |
