Promotions and placements of our successful young talents
Outstanding young researchers from our Faculty have received appointments at other universities*. Below is an overview of the appointments from last year. We congratulate them and wish them all the best in the next step of their careers.
Department of Business Administration
- Mary Hausfeld, postdoctoral researcher, has received and accepted an offer as assistant professor of management at Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick.
- Theresa Langenmayr, former postdoctoral, has been offered and accepted a position as assistant professor with tenure track at the University of Lugano.
- Manuel Mariani, senior assistant, has received two offers, of which he has accepted the appointment as Associate Professor with Tenure at Corvinus University
- Anand von Zelderen, postdoctoral researcher, has received and accepted an appointment as assistant professor of AI & Business at SKEMA Business School in Suresnes, France.
Department of Economics
- Nicola Benigni, doctoral student, has been offered and accepted a position as Assistant Professor at the University of Liechtenstein.
Bin Huang, doctoral student, has received and accepted an appointment as assistant professor at Renmin University of China.
Gabriele Patete, doctoral student, has been offered and accepted a position as Assistant Professor with tenure track at the University of the Balearic Islands.
Kang Pyungwon, senior assistant, has received and accepted an appointment as assistant professor with tenure track at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
Lexi Schubert, doctoral student, has been offered and accepted a position as Assistant Professor with tenure track at Wesleyan University.
Julien Senn, senior assistant, has received and accepted an appointment as full professor at the University of Paris.
Jeffrey Yousof, doctoral student, has been offered and accepted a position as assistant professor at the University of Stuttgart.
Department of Finance
- Emanuela Benincasa, doctoral student, has been offered and accepted a position as assistant professor at the University of Sydney.
Ana Mao de Ferro, doctoral candidate, has been offered and accepted a position as assistant professor at Emylon Business School, Lyon.
Benjamin Schneider, doctoral student, has been offered and accepted a position as assistant professor at HEC Montréal.
Department of Informatics
- Alexandra Diehl, former postdoctoral researcher, has been offered and accepted a position as Associate Professor at the University of Southern Denmark, starting on 1 June 2025.
- PD Dr. Mateusz Dolata has received and accepted an offer of an endowed chair of Artificial Intelligence at Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen.
- Muriel Franco, former doctoral student, has been offered and accepted a position as Assistant Professor with tenure track at the Federal University of Health Sciences Porto Alegre, Brazil, starting on 1 April 2025.
- Alberto Huertas, senior researcher, has been offered and accepted a position as assistant professor with tenure track at the University of Murcia.
- Pooja Rani, senior assistant, has received and accepted an appointment as W3 professor at the University of Mannheim.
- Eder John Scheid, former doctoral student, has been offered and accepted a position as Assistant Professor with tenure track at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil, starting on 1 April 2025.
