AI Buddy is your digital study companion, developed as part of the UZH Digital Strategy in collaboration with the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics.
What does AI Buddy offer?
- Smart Course Search: Find courses, ECTS credits, prerequisites, and exam dates across all our programs, including Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, and Informatics.
- Regulation Guide: Get clear information on module registration, assessment rules, course repetition, and recognition of external credits, with direct links to official sources.
- University Services Guide: Quick answers about IT services (OLAT, VPN, email), health & counselling, student associations, and other campus resources.
Your data is stored in Switzerland and the EU. AI Buddy operates on Microsoft Azure infrastructure in Switzerland and the EU, in compliance with UZH data protection standards and the data protection law of the Canton of Zurich. Your conversations are never used for grading or administrative decisions and are not shared with third parties.
Good to know: AI Buddy helps you understand regulations, find courses, and navigate university processes. It does not replace academic advising for binding decisions and provides neither personalized tutoring nor access to your grades.
