Portrait #4: Alexander Wagner – How can companies remain resilient against crises?

Around 100 professors teach and do research at our Faculty. But who are they, what motivates them and what are the questions they want to find answers to? In a new series, we introduce various professors and their research. In the fourth portrait, it's Alexander Wagner's turn. He is a Professor of Finance at the Department of Banking and Finance.

How can companies remain resilient against crises? And how can Finance help in stabilizing the world? These are questions that drive Alexander Wagner every day. «I also work with people in other fields, trying to understand what other fields have to say about this question. But I think Finance can offer an important help in stabilizing our world and also basically helping people live more peacefully with less fear of crises in the future.»
