Online examinations are written either at home (remote online exam) or with your own device at the University of Zurich (Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) exam). In order to complete the online exams smoothly, there are some technical notes regarding software to be considered, which you can find on this page.
For some exams, the Safe Exam Browser (SEB) is used in addition to the EPIS, Ans, or Inspera examination software.
You must install the Safe Exam Browser software on your end device in advance.

Which examination software is used for your examinations?
There are three examination software in use for the spring semester 2024: OLAT EPIS, Ans, and Inspera.
In order to get used to the examination environments, a mock exam will be carried out in time for each examination so that you will be prepared for the exam technique and know what to expect.
You will receive the relevant information from the lecturers in good time for each examination.
