The exams take place in halls 5 and 7.

Messe Zürich

Admission

The admission to the exams takes place 30 minutes before the exam begins. You can find the start and end times of the exams at Exams Assessment and Common Compulsory Program OEC and INF. Please plan enough time for entrance checks and to find your seat.

Anyone arriving late will be allowed entrance up to max. 10 minutes after the exam start time and no additional time will be granted.

Coat Racks

For hall 5, there are coat racks in the entrance area. Coat racks will be made available in front of hall 7. Bags and backpacks can be stored in the same area.

For all exam areas there is a strict “No Coats or Bags Allowed” policy, which means that no jackets, coats, bags, backpacks, etc. may be taken along.

Toilets

The toilets accessible before the entrance checks at Messe Zürich are on the underground floor. Please note that it is not possible to go to the toilets after the entrance check. During the exam, students can go to the toilets up to 15 minutes before the end of the exam.

Valuables

There are a limited number of lockers in the entrance area and on the underground floor of Messe Zürich to store valuables. We strongly recommend not bringing any valuables (e.g. laptops, tablets) to Messe Zürich, as these may not be taken into the exam areas. If all lockers are occupied, neither the exam proctors nor the staff of the Dean’s Office will accept valuables for safekeeping, without exception.

Entrance Checks in the Exam Areas

The entrance checks take place at the entrance of the halls with scanning stations. You must show your student ID card and your calculator (if it is allowed for the exam). Please take note of the information in the document  “Authorized Materials”. Please note that only transparent cases/containers to store writing utensils may be brought into the exam areas.

After the entrance check, the exam area cannot be left again, unless in justified emergencies (e.g. forgotten medication), and only in presence of an exam proctor.

Lost and found

After the last assessment exam, items left behind will be brought to the UZH Lost and Found office at Rämistrasse 71, 8006 (City Campus) and can be picked up there (without guarantee).
