Strategy, Organization and Innovation

In the Strategy, Organization and Innovation minor study program, you will examine the strategic orientation and organizational design of companies in dynamic and complex environments. The aim is to develop skills for analyzing organizational challenges, formulating effective strategies and designing innovative solutions, while taking ethical and sustainability-related aspects into account.

In addition to the core concepts of strategy and organizational theory, you will learn about governance structures, corporate responsibility, innovation and strategic change. Both theoretical knowledge and its practical application in various industries and contexts, such as sports and mobility, are considered.

As part of the minor study program, you will familiarize yourself with key strategic and organizational decisions in companies. The program is characterized by its combination of theoretical foundations and application-based learning. You will acquire skills in the areas of strategic analysis, organizational design, governance, corporate responsibility, innovation and strategic change, enabling you to make informed decisions in dynamic environments. Practical modules such as the UZH Innovathon or organizational consulting projects enable you to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world problems. All courses provide a comprehensive overview of the latest approaches from research and practice.

The minor study program thus provides a solid understanding of strategic and organizational leadership as well as problem-oriented insights into the structures and fundamental interrelationships of strategy, organization and innovation.
