Dieter Pfaff retires as professors at UZH
Prof. Dieter Pfaff retired at the end of July 2025 after more than 30 years at the University of Zurich. He has been a professor at the Department of Business Administration (IBW) since 1994.
Following his retirement, Prof. Pfaff will remain active in teaching as part of the newly established Emeriti Teaching Center at the IBW. Over the years, many students and early-career researchers have benefited from his experience and expertise.
In addition to his academic work, Prof. Pfaff was engaged in various professional associations, including as president of the Swiss Society for Business Administration and SwissAccounting, and as editor of the Swiss Journal of Business.
The Faculty and the department thank Prof. Pfaff for his long-standing commitment and look forward to continuing the collaboration.
