The Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics is known for its excellence in teaching and research. This is confirmed by the accreditations by AACSB and EQUIS as well as the international rankings. Every year, the Faculty also awards an honorary doctorate to an outstanding personality.
Accreditation under the American AACSB label as well as the European EQUIS label is a confirmation that our study programs and our faculty management comply with the highest international standards of the best business schools.
The excellence of our research capacities has been repeatedly confirmed in academic rankings. Good placement in the various ranking systems is an important indicator of how the international community assesses our research activities and demonstrates that the Faculty's success has a broad base.
At the annual Dies academicus celebration, each UZH faculty presents a distinguished researcher and teacher with an honorary doctorate from the University of Zurich. We are very proud of the honorary doctorates of our Faculty.
