Nurturing young talent in research belongs to the core missions of the Faculty. At present, about 3900 students accomplish a major, 1000 a minor, and 400 a Doctoral program at our Faculty.
Our Faculty honors scholarly work that makes a scientific contribution to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and thus has an impact on society, the environment, and the economy.
There are currently top-class female professors working at our Faculty. In addition, young female researchers from our Faculty are regularly offered positions at other universities. The peer mentoring group "CareerElixier" offers female doctoral and post-doctoral students the opportunity to network.
Academic competence, a sustainable faculty policy and consideration of the impact of economic decisions on society and the environment are important components in how we understand responsible scholarship.
