Sara vs. Siri: The effects of digitalizing and dehumanizing customer touchpoints
Prof. Anne Scherer will discuss how an increasing digitalization, automation and dehumanization transforms consumer behavior and consumers’ interactions and relationships with firms.
Anne Scherer is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University Research Priority Program on Social Networks. Prior to joining the University of Zurich, she has worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Chair of Technology Marketing at the ETH Zurich and as a doctoral researcher at the Technische Universität München, where she received her PhD.
The inaugural lecture is public and will take place as part of the science festival "100 Ways of Thinking" University of Zurich at Kunsthalle Zurich (Löwenbräu-Areal, Kunsthalle Zürich, Limmatstrasse 270, Zürich Google-Maps ) on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at 5:15 pm. No reservation is needed.
