You are warmly invited to the inaugural lecture of Prof. Guilherme Lichand:
The Psychology of Poverty
Does poverty cause psychological consequences that deteriorate the quality of decision-making, potentially leading to poverty traps? Prof. Lichand will discuss how his research agenda addresses this question, focusing on technological innovations that allow measuring cognitive performance outside the lab, and on large scale experiments that point the way to policies that could mitigate such psychological effects.
The inaugural lecture is public and will take place in the Aula of the University of Zurich (KOL G-201, Raemistrasse 71, 8006 Zurich) on Monday, April 30, 2018, at 7:30 pm. No reservation is needed.
We are looking forward to seeing you there!
