15.10.2013Prof. Zilibotti elected President of the European Economic Association (EEA)

Prof. Fabrizio Zilibotti, Department of Economics, has been elected President of the European Economic Association. He will be Vice-President in 2014, President Elect in 2015, and President in 2016. The EEA is the most important association of academic economists in Europe. Since the foundation of the EEA in 1986, Prof. Zilibotti will be the third president from an institution located in the German-speaking world (after Martin Hellwig, 1992, and Ernst Fehr, 2008).
