Master's programs
The Master's program at the Faculty of Economics, Business Administration and Information Technology of the University of Zurich offers advanced, academic education in the areas of economics, business administration and informatics. This degree readies graduates to work independently in academic and project-oriented environments.

Master of Arts in economics and business administration
The Master's degree provides students with the prerequisites to take on above-average, demanding professional and academic tasks. Moreover, under certain circumstances, the possibility of studying at the Doctoral level is open.
Admission to the Master's program generally requires a Bachelor's degree in a field of economics and business administration from an institute of higher education or an equivalent degree. The faculty may make the Master's degree dependent on demonstration of additional knowledge and skills that must be acquired prior to or during the Master's program.
In the Master's program, we offer specializations in economics, business administration, banking and finance, and management and economics. Regardless of the specialization, a total of 120 credits must be earned. Each specialization has its own compulsory program. The core elective and elective courses give you the opportunity to set individual areas of concentration. The program concludes with a Master's thesis, which represents 30 ECTS credits.
Master of Science in informatics
The Master's program in informatics expands and deepens knowledge acquired during the Bachelor's program. It enables students to independently work out new, difficult problems in informatics and their applications using scientific methods. The program allows you to specialize in the application of informatics in business, the development of complex software systems or specific scientific issues. In the Master's program, as in the Bachelor's program, great emphasis is placed on an application-oriented approach. In addition to a solid education in core informatics, courses are also offered in various other fields. Internships, projects, case studies and tutorials give you an all-around preparation for the professional world.
